What do I get when I join?

The ShipVid desktop app for Windows (download it from the Downloads channel on Whop), the ShipVid YouTube Playbook, and the mastermind: live calls, a members' chat and video feedback. The app is yours to keep from your first payment, even if you cancel later.

What does a video cost to make?

You pay the AI models directly through your own Replicate account, at their prices. A 10 minute video is about $3.69 with images and footage, or about $7.67 with three AI video clips (estimates on the default models, including a 15% buffer). Our three real 10 to 11 minute videos cost $4.51 to $4.86. Rendering happens on your PC and is free.

Do I need my own API key?

Yes. One Replicate API token runs every model, from the script to the voice, images, video and music. You paste it once in Settings. Want to look around first? Demo mode makes a free test video without a single paid call.

How long does a video take?

The AI part depends on the length and the models: our 10:47 video essay was researched, written, fact checked, voiced and edited 57 minutes after the idea was typed, ready to review. The final render runs on your own PC, so its speed depends on your computer. You can close the app while it works and resume later without paying for the finished steps again.

Will it look like AI slop?

Every style has hand-built scenes: animated maps, charts, archive pages, stick figures, code windows and more, rendered frame by frame. Scripts pass a fact check and your channel's script standard, and you watch the whole video in the editor before it renders.

Can I monetize these videos on YouTube?

ShipVid is built for original, reviewed videos: it writes in your voice, gives every video a different shape than your last ones, checks facts and lets you read the script before the voiceover. Monetization is YouTube's decision, so follow its policies and use its disclosure for realistic AI content when it applies.

Can I use my own footage or music?

Yes. Edit my video takes your own recordings and turns them into a finished video: best takes, pauses cut, captions, punch-in zooms, b-roll and music. For any video you can also use your own music file, or no music at all.

Can I change the video after it's made?

Yes. With Review before rendering, which is on by default, the whole video opens in the editor first: timeline, mixer, texts, poses and the music of each chapter. Those changes are free, and you can render again whenever you like.

Which languages does it speak?

25 narration languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese and Polish. Captions follow the narration.

Which computer do I need?

A Windows PC. The video renders on your own machine, so there is no cloud queue and no upload limit. A Mac version is planned.

Where are my videos and keys stored?

On your computer. Every project is a folder with final.mp4, thumbnail.png, captions.srt and description.txt, and your API token is encrypted by your system's keychain.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, from your Whop account, and you keep the app. The $49 launch price stays locked for as long as you stay subscribed.
